Ok, I just have to toss this in here!
In 1964 The Beatles had 6 #1 hits(amazing!) and 2 # 1 albums and about 20 top 100 hits! Plus 1 movie and 1 book.Also they had the highest viewing audience on t v at the time. Not bad for 1 year! And some people here dare to say that they are overrated!

I don't think The Moody Blues ever had a #1 hit in the US. I don't know about other countries though.
