I've always wonder if that guy killed his own mother and made up the story about the hitchhiker. It all sounded so weird to me to make sense. ANyone else think this?

Charles Holden was cleared from being a suspect because the cops interviewed people at the fastfood restaurant, and there was indeed a man fitting the same description as the hitchhiker, that was asking people for a ride that night. The whole story does sound bizarre but I guess it was true. What a coinscience that the hitchhiker would end up at the house of Charles Holden.

I remember the story about that guy "Bell", the guy he murdered was named Larry but his last name escapes me. He is locked away now thankfully.

One that I think about is the one about this man who was a biker, but not a bad one. Anyway he went on a trip and never returned. His wife was pleading for his safe return and they suspected he probably met with foul play from other bikers. They had an update where they found his clothes and later declared him dead. I don't know if they ever found his remains. Did they?

There is one episode that I saw but didn't know what happened because the tv was on mute. It was about a lady at an indian reservation somewhere in the desert. They kept showing her wandering away from there and hitchiking. Then they showed an update with some blonde haired man in court. I assume he was sent to jail? Can someone tell me what this whole case was about?

Larry Dickens was his name, I believe.

That last case - was that the Arizona case about Marie Armstrong? She was a schizophrenic who killed her boyfriend, then showed up at an Indian reservation under an alias asking about a car (I think?), then disappearing. The update (with the old school update music I love) showed her in court with blonde hair, and her face was blacked out for some reason. I saw the case for the first time last month but it originally aired on November 29, 1989.

The biker that was killed was named Tom Roche. I think it said on the update that they did find some remains (partial anyway) that DNA tests confirmed were him.

Is the "Haunted Bunkbed" episode, the one where a guy is staying with friends at a cabin, or something, and they hear all kinds of noises, and one night, while sleeping, he feels something sit on his leg?

Some favorites I can think of now:

Spontaneous Human Combustion
The Haunted house of the Mann family
"Losing Time" Alien Abduction

I agree. That story is strange but it certainly isn't impossible.

People like that suspect make me so afraid to pick up hitchhikers.

That story was too bizarre. I first saw it a few weeks ago when Lifetime repeated it and that story spooked me out. That's why my parents always lock the doors on our car when we see a hitchhiker!

Default Forgot this old one...

I think the ladys name was Bonnie. She suffered from agoraphobia and it really put a strain on her marriage. She was suppose to take a trip on a train but instead she vanished. Her husband found her car at the train station and left a note on there for her but she never returned.

Her husband seemed kind of cold like he didn't care either way that she was gone. I remember him saying something like "It was hell living with her. It was hell losing her but now I've moved on, I'm happier than ever, blah blah blah."

More info please if available!

Exclamation Aimee Willard

Quote:
The one with the girl from Pennsylvania was she was home from college and was out drinking with friends (she was the DD) and she left to go home. Apparently someone pretending to be a cop stopped her (a passing car saw this) and she never made it home. Her body was found in a desert lot a few days later..she was raped adn killed. But i don't recall her name.
I believe her name was Aimee Willard. I think that it was just on Lifetime a couple days ago. It is a very bizarre case.

Man, that was my all time scariest case. I still have difficulty watching it. I first saw it when I was eight. I have that episode on tape.

Crap, I hope they got the guy for it. Whenever I compare this case to any other it comes out as scary by a long shot. Makes me wince.

Another one that freaked me out was where this guy employed this black man as a labourer on his farm. The man brought his family with him and someone managed to influence his employer to be his slave. I think the case happened somewhere in Pensylvania. The employer had been murdered in the basement where he was living a life of poverty.

Really creepy how someone could influence this guy to be his slave.

They solved the case thankgod. It was in the 2001/2002 series.

My final freaky case is where a girl is staying home from school for the day because she is ill. Then she wakes up and cant remember anything but her house is ransacked. Then over the following months she has seisures and slowly recovers her memory which is pretty horrific. They never knew whether the girl was lieing or telling the truth although she did pass lie detector tests.

This case was shown in the 2001/2002 series too
