What the hell. That pisses me off now. Meangya I waited til I was 18, and 2.5 months later I get pulled over for doing 51 in a 35. I get a $72 ticket AND I lose my license for 20 days.

Shhh... Daddy still doesnt know about that last part!
Here I think they take your license for 20 or 25 over. Not 16.

What's your phone number again?

Anyway, it's been three years now and I haven't been pulled over once yet.

Ive had my license for 5 months and 22 days...

8 days ill I am legal..

but back in June I got into a minor car accident, smashed the light and it was in a parking lot, go figure...it wasnt my fault tho...seriously I have a tendancy to speed tho, so I keep knocking on wood that I wont get pulled over, I know where the cops like to hang out Also, I am kinda suprised I havent gotten a warning for driving past 12...we have a curfew and you cant be driving past 12, its kinda bad

Get this, the cop that pulled me over was my friends[who was in the car] dad. Thank Angelina. Had it been anyone else i would of gotten in so much trouble.
OMG, you are sooooooo lucky He let you off with a warning I suppose? No fair

I've only been pulled over once in my life - when I was seventeen - and I totally deserved it. I was going 50 in a 35 zone, and when the cop pulled me over I was such a wuss, I started to cry. It was a female cop and she cut me a break - she only wrote me up as speeding 4mph. I went to court with my parents and got my points taken under advisement (if I didn't get pulled over within the next 6 months my record was clean). I did have to pay the 40 buck ticket, and I've been the perfect driver ever since - the fastest I'll ever speed is 5mph

That sucks, Tim. But you were pretty lucky to know the guy. I get my liscense, hopefully, in about 4 months. I hope I dont get a ticket...but it's very possible I will. I'm a bit of lead-foot.

Exclamation Close call

Aside from the safety issue, moving violations can destroy your driving record and make your car insurance rates go through the roof.

I'm glad you got off easy, but hope you learned a lesson.

This scare may have been a blessing in disguise.

I have only been pulled over once. I was driving down a one lane road that turned into a two lane. There was a car ahead of me and when the road became two lane I passed him on the right. A few seconds later I see flashing lights behind me so I pull over. The policeman asks if I knew what I had done wrong and I said no. He said I had illegally passed on the right, my tires left the pavement. I thought to myself so. He could have given me a warning, but he had to give me a ticket. The next day I told someone and they said it was the end of the month and police have quotas they have to make. Whatever!
