I've been singing Shania Twain songs since I came into my room and started up my computer. I popped in my karaoke CD and started singing it.

Now if only I pass the audition for my All-State chorus... that would mean EVERYTHING to me!

I hate to sing.
I only sing small parts of certain songs, and thats usually only if its in a movie or something. (because then, for some movies, I know all the words anyways)

Maybe you're the next American Idol.... hmm....

Ha! 2 more years and I can audition for American Idol. I think you have to be 16 or older... or is 18?. Right now, All-State will do. But wait a few years, and watch American Idol.

Or if American Idol stops, look for my CD in stores (I'm figuring out how to make my own CD right now.)

Question: Do you know if a 30th-anniversary remake of the classic cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show has been made for TV by Fox? It would be nice to see, since it's the film's 30th anniversary this year. — Helen

Flickchick: Actually, I don't think it would be nice at all, and it isn't the film's 30th anniversary yet — the original London production of The Rocky Horror Show opened on June 18th, 1973, but the film didn't open until 1975. Be that as it may, Fox is developing an "updated" version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) for television that's tentatively being called "The Rocky Horror Birthday Show." The plot will apparently involve the new misadventures of Dr. Frank 'n' Furter (no casting mentioned), now a plastic surgeon, as he tries to make a perfect man. The good news is that Rocky Horror creator Richard O'Brien is attached as writer, along with Australian director Stephan Elliott, of Priscilla Queen of the Desert (1994) fame. As to the bad news, Rocky Horror was the product of a particular place, time and set of personalities; it's the definition of what people mean when the say "lightning in a bottle." Remember O'Brien's own attempt to duplicate Rocky Horror cult appeal, Shock Treatment (1981)? I didn't think so.
