For the 2001 Reunion:
Tootie and Jeff together with a daughter and son. Tootie works as an actress and drama teacher at Eastland, Jeff as a football coach. Natalie would be an English teacher at Eastland and a writer. She would have not married or been with anyone. Maybe that guy from Bates Academy, the one who was that wrestler could have came back in the reunion, all grown up and they could have dated or something. Jo and Rick have a girl, Jo would be a history teacher at Eastland. Blair would be married with a daughter and son, the son likes Jo's daughter. She'd still be running Eastland. Mrs. Garrett would be retired and living with Bruce in Peekskill. They celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. Beverly Ann would be retired and living next door to Edna. Andy and Pippa would be seriously dating. Then she reveals she's having a baby and is a few months pregnant and they get married. Geri became a successful comedian in New York and had some guest appearances on some TV shows and talk shows. In the reunion the girls would sorts of be like "The Golden Girls" in the teacher's lounge at Eastland as they'd all work there. They'd all be busy planning the wedding anniversary and dealing with problems that come up. It would have been funnier and happier than what we got in the 2001 reunion, I feel so bad for Tootie and how Jeff died and how Blair didn't have kids and how Jo wasn't there. If those 3 things were changed, the reunion would have been so much better. Mrs. G. as a widow I could buy, but even that, if she wasn't, would have made the reunion so much better. Revival series (keeping in mind events that happened in the 2001 reunion): (Because, come on, there's a good chance this COULD get revived soon!) Mrs. G.- She's now 90 or older. She may have a few small spots here and there if Charlotte is up to doing work or if she's in good health/still alive if they ever do a revival series. I would have her living in a retirement home and rooming with her sister Beverly Ann! Blair: In 2001 she bought back Eastland just to make the dorm be named after her. She became head mistress again because she loved working with kids. Blair would be the main star of the show. This would be a glimpse of what might have happened had the show gotten a 10th season or Blair's spin-off back in 1988, only take things many years later where she's the age Mrs. Garrett was back in 1979. Blair is still married to Tad and they had one daughter, a replica of Blair who goes to Eastland. They had her much later on than the early 2000s as there were complications and Blair had a hard time getting pregnant. But her daughter would be in 8th grade at the time the revival series happens so if the series is a success, the 5th season would see her graduation from there. Natalie: She and Harper are not together. They didn't get married after all. Natalie moved back home to Peeksill permanently in 2002 after the break up. She became an English teacher at Eastland. Tootie: She and Harper re-opened the theatre and he convinced her to become a drama teacher at Eastland when her old teacher she had stepped down. Tootie's girl Keisha is an adult now and has a little kid of her own she had out of wedlock and slowly the father comes back into their life as the series progresses. Jo: I'm not really sure what she'd be doing today, or if she'd be up for a revival series. But if she was there, I'd probably say she is in town, now a guidance counselor or something at Eastland. I can't see her as a cop, maybe when she was younger. She and Rick are still together. Jaime is now an adult and in love with some guy, possibly an older man. other characters Geri: Has her own comedy club in NYC Beverly Ann: Given that Cloris Leachman is still alive, well, and up to doing this if and when there is a revival series, she's retired and living in a retirement facility and roomie's with Edna! With Mrs. G. and Beverly Ann, the actresses are both circa 90+, so if they do a revival series, it would be best having them sitting, relaxed, giving talks and advice from their living space the characters would share together in their final years on earth. Maybe Blair brings her daughter to them for talks at times. I think that would work well, or a special rare time when Mrs. G. goes back to visit Eastland and the new dorm. |
