There is a huge lawsuit over the guy who "cracked" DSS (used to decrypt DVD's) - he did it so that the Linux users could write DVD decoder software and play DVD's in Linux, but because he posted it on a website and someone could use it to illegally copy dvd's, he is getting sued bigtime (and anyone else posting the DSS decryption is also being sued as well). |
