This was actually one of the few episodes that made me cry. Mindy's tears were so realistically messy that my heart broke. Most actors shed such tidy tears I don't always feel moved by them. Jo's famous tears are too tidy for me.

This is one of my favorite episodes of the early seasons just because Mindy Cohen pulled off when one of the most convincing performances I have ever witnessed. She must of been thinking something very emotional, perhaps something of a similar situation happened to her in her own life and she used that as a way to help bring the right amount of emotion and tears to this episode.
