HUH??? What you said does not make any sense. So that means since the Jeffersons, Three's Company, Alice, Barney Miller, and Happy Days all started in the 70's but ended in the 80's, that means those are 1980 sitcoms??????????????

It means they can be considered either 70's or 80's sitcoms. It doesn't mean they are only one or the other.

It's like Seinfeld is considered a 90's a show even though it started in the late 80's. Same with Full HOuse it started in the late 80's but people consider it a 90's show.

Heck the full house board here is under the 90's not the 80's.

So Perfect Strangers can be considered by SOME to be a 90's show, just like some consider Seinfeld, and Married with Children, heck some even consider Roseanne a 90's show.

It's the decade the show ends in, is why it's considered a show of that decade, and not the decade it started in.

Senfield is considered a 1990's show because it started in 1990. Full House really belongs on the 1980's board because it started in 1987. Perfect Strangers started in 1986 and only aired for the first two years of the 1990's decade so how could anyone think Pefect strangers was a 1990's sitcom?

Correction: Perfect Strangers ended in 1993, so it ran three years into the 1990s. (Well, four if you consider the years in the 1990s in which the show ran were 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993.)
