I ahven't even seen the original Carrie- I heard the sequel's crap too. The book, which I HAVE read, is fantastic- it must be the hardest task in the world to adapt a stephen king book. Anyway- how the hell could they change the ending! It's unacceptable, even though the book is mainly made up of interviews and enquiries and new reports- it's gotta be a truly evil person to change the ending. The only reason i haven't seen the original is that my video rental store doesn't have it now (I think it used to- but at the time I remember it last being there was before I'd ever have set eyes on a horror book or film) and I don't wanna buy it, cos the book is very graphic, and graphic scenes in films put me off watching it much again...

I'm remembering back a few years, but my recollection is that the original "Carrie" isn't that hard to watch. I think you'd like it if you liked the book.

Mr.Deeds was great. Adam Sandler made it a bit different but overall, I think he did a great job and Winona Ryder did wonderful in it too

Planet of the Apes remake. One of the Worst movies I ever saw.
