Like i said many times before, there's actually nothing wrong with Drafted, except for the stars not having established their real FULL characters yet, and that fake cry Lucy and Ethel did, but we always name it as a joke more than anything else. But as a kid Scotland and the Gypsy one and most others with many musical numbers i HATED, now that i'm older, i know the music by heart and LOVE them, so tastes change with time.

The Scottish one, (regardless of musical numbers!) tends to annoy people from the UK rather. The accents, and the whole image of life in Britain, smacks of the weird ideas American TV has about these things. Sometimes you just laugh at it for being so unrealistic, sometimes it get annoying - especially because it still happens in current shows!

They might HATE that show, but think how Viv and Bill must have REALLY HATED to be in that costume TOGETHER!

But they paid for it in the end, Desi offered them both a spinoff and their hatred forbade them accepting that so they slowly faded away.

Might have been for the best though. They were tremendous in support, obviously, but do you think they could have handled their own show? They'd have needed some other couple to play off against probably.

I wonder how it would have gone?

Nope, i dun't! Bill died six years after the last Lucy Desi comedy hour was aired, and as great as they both were, one was a pain in the rear and the other had severe mental problems, so that alone. Then, like you said, a line here, a line there, is not enough to sustain a whole show! Ask Kramer from Seinfeld!

A few episodes in the last season were not that good. Any musical episode I disliked too.

You're not alone there....I don't care for that one either.

But my least favorite one is "Lucy Cries Wolf" (and as a matter of fact that's the first one I've ever seen.). Well, perhaps I stand alone in not liking that one......
