It was Patti LuPone, Tony Winner for Evita, who was on Life Goes On not Ida Lupino. It was ironic that her character did community theater. Many episodes featured her singing voice and she have a dynamic voice. One episode that stood out that had me in tears was when she discovered that she was pregnant. Libby, LuPone's character on the show, was sitting on the swing and the child that she had loss came back and asked her what it would had been liked to be part of the family. He asked her to sing to him. She sang a song from Peter Pan and it was very moving and emotionally powerful. Too bad they cut into the commercial.

I think Andy Griffith cut a few albums, if I'm not mistaken - Andy Griffith Show

I guess one can say the Flintstones. I'm sure Reed/Blanc/Pyl and the others did the singing on the show ( "Let the Sunshine In', and others ). Awhile back there was an actual Flintstones CD out with all the songs featured on the show.

Anson Williams and Donny Most of Happy Days both made albums too in the late 70's

I don't think Leonard Nimoy sang on his album. (Didn't he recite poetry or something?)

I thought Leonard Nimoy sang on his album,maybe he did poetry or spoken word songs. Anyway, both albums of William and Leonard's are highly collectable.
