I get along okay with my parents. We have a pretty good relationship. Yeah, we do have our arguments. I don't want to sound like Ms. Perfect over here, because I'm def. not.

I swear when I was about 13 years old, we had so many arguments. I would argue with my parents because they were forcing me to do something I didn't want to do, or preventing me from something that I really wanted to do. I'm older now and things have settled down quite a lot. Like I said before, we do have some arguments now. For the most part, I get along pretty well with them.

My parents bother me. They're always around and we're always fighting...arrrgh. Of course, I have no life, so that is probably a contributing factor.

Ya.....I technically live with both of my parents, as in the same household, but my mother is actually a single parent, believe it or not. She has been the one raising me the past 13 years. My dad doesn't do anything. At all. He leaves EVERYTHING up to my mom. All he does is contribute his bitching and moaning every minute of the day. Granted my mother has raised me, I'm not too happy with her right now either.

For the most part that's me too. My parents are, well my mom is anyways, understanding about what I'm going through so they know that when the blow up occurr, they know to get out of the way. Honestly.... we rarely fight and if there is any screaming... its on my part. I scream she just talks... *shrugs* And my dad, I don't realy talk to him, like in depth, so.... yeah, we never fight.... *shrugs* Its hard to explain I guess....

My parents don't even notice me for the fact that they're always fighting. And they wonder why I don't talk to them half the time I can never get a word in. I don't really care though. I just wanna find someplace far from NJ and them.

my dad and i get along pretty well. we dont have the real father-daughter relationship because of his brain injury- we have more of a friend relationship which is cool by me.
my mother and i- our personalities just clash, and badly. Little things that would normally not mean anything start screaming arguments with us. every so often we get along and then its great- but the rest of the time...aghhh i cant stand her.

My mom is soo great! If Im late for school she'll come and excuse me saying I was sick even if it's not true lol.....and she's just great, she's like a teen she likes pop and hip hop music and even tho she can be embarrassing b/c she's really loud especially if she's mad at someone, she'll yell at them in the grocery line or whatever, she'll yell at ppl in their cars like 'dont make me get out and beat your ___ bitch!" if they honk at her on the freeway.... but for the most part she's totally cool.....

my dad on the other hand is pretty much overprotective and a prude.....it's amazning how diff. they are....

I get along with my parents pretty well. If I want to go out they usually let me, rarely have they made me stya home for stupid reasons. Sure they get on my nerves and we yell at each other but for the most part we are pretty close.

I don't get along all that well with my parents. The only reason I still live with them is cos I don't have the money to get a place of my own just yet. We fight constantly - particularly my mum and I. I don't fight with my dad so much, primarily cos I hardly ever speak to him.
I think lack of respect is the problem. My dad is a lazy drunk. He sits around on his arse all day watching MTV - what kind of man does that?? And how can I respect a man who does that?? My mother treats me like I'm 12 (I'm nearly 21), doesn't respect my privacy and shoots me down at every opportunity she gets! I work my arse off every day - I work more hours than she does - yet she still calls me lazy!! She told me that she's disappointed in me cos she wanted a "nice girly girl" for a daughter - not a dyke like me!!
I would like to be close to my parents. I was actually pleasently surprised cos I had quite a meaningful conversation with my mother last night which is something I haven't done in a long time. And in a way my dad isn't so bad - I think he sees me more as a son than a daughter. He and I have had some good chats sometimes too.
Occasionally.
Most of the time we're at each other throats. We make the Osbournes look functional! My parents have never said that they love me. I grew up thinking that families weren't meant to say that to each other. Do your parents tell you that they love you and that they're proud of you? I'd love to hear my mum and dad say that.

*nods* I have cards on my board that they gave me that are like, "Congrats!" and "I'm Impressed" stuff like that and whenever Joc comes over she looks at them and goes, "Wow, my family would never give me anything like that."

*shrugs* Its not normal if it isnt said in my household.

I love my parents. They love me too. They love to tease though. Nothing mean or nasty. It's all in fun. They took me on alot of trips and did cool stuff with me. They still do.

The older I get, the more I appreciate them. I wasn't an easy child to raise. I was a brat.
