Freddie did love her though. It hurt him that divorce proceedings were started. I'll be honest with you. When Maria passes (God bless her). It will be sad too.

Yes, when she goes it will be really sad. If she were to have died in Freddies lifetime, I would've just broke his dear heart. Wish we could find out how she is...

Cheryl,
I can't help but think that Freddie realized perhaps too late that he wasn't the "love of her life" Cause in the nyer article it said that Freddie often mentioned that He wasn't upset about the divorce so much as he was the mistake of marrying in the first place.

Something tells me that K might not have felt that Freddie was the "love" of her life. She was pretty blase' about the whole thing.

Oh so "K" stands for Kathy. It's strange because before he died,She was good and ready to divorce him.Why is it that she still carries his last name? Could she change it or is it impossible to do that when your spouse deceased?

Maybe this also played a part in his death because he was probably afraid that he was going to lose everything and also probably afraid of losing her and little Freddie.I just find the whole situation odd.

I read that also.I don't mean to sound offensive in any way but,Do you think that she just married him and agreed to have children by him because he was a celebrity? Just curious.

It's just odd because she threw that alimony and child support on him so fast that he probably didn't even know what hit him.

I wonder the same thing too. I sure hope she wasn't using him for the fame & fortune. From what I read about it, when she tried to divorce him & take the baby from him not only did it break his heart & he cried many tears over it but he was so upset cuz she was suing him for the alimony etc & he felt he couldn't afford it. I read that contributed to his death. So sad...

Our poor Freddie was so young. People tend to forget that.

After that happened to him he did himself in (So to speak). He couldn't handle the pain.

I know,It's just so sad.I also feel that he got married when he wasn't ready for it.I don't think he was as ready as he thought he was to have chlidren either but because little Freddie was on the way,I guess they felt that it was proper to do so.

I still can't get it thru my thick skull why "K" felt like Freddie owed her alimony.... To me, it seems like she felt she was too good to get out and get A JOB!!!!

She did have a son though and she needed money for him. I just get mad at the papers being served when he was so messed up.
