Try another pic Marlene.... sometimes certain servers have blocks that don't allow you to take their pictures..

Thanks Karly, but I'm not trying to put a pic in my siggy. I want to save it in My Pictures, then put it into a post.

Right, and art pics can't be attached. I don't even want to do one now, but I've wanted to it the past and couldn't. I had a devil of a time finding a new avatar with a jpg extension.
I want to know how to convert an art file to one that can be attached. I tried Caitlin's way but it didn't work for me. I have AOL, so maybe that's messing things up.

Janice, open the file as an .art, then take a screen capture of it (Print Screen), hit "paste" in PAINT, use the cutting tool to crop the capture: part that you want of course, hit CUT

File>>New>>Don't save

Now that you've got a new window...>>right click>>paste, adjust the paint window if you have to, File>>Save as...>> then scroll to .jpeg. That should work.

Thanks, but I give up. When I try to open the file as art, my Adobe Photo thingy tells me I can't.
I appreciate everyone's efforts, but it's not meant to be I guess.

Have you tried to open it with another program other than Adobe?

I didn't know I could. It was defaulted to Adobe. I opened and renamed it under AOL, which didn't have the jp things, but did have txt, so here goes.
