The TZ ep was obviously made years before any of the movies he became famous for (like Deliverance, The Longest Yard, and Smoky and the Bandit). It just completely stands to reason he'd be much younger on TZ. Yet Jenny wrongly wrote of me to Janice as if I was nitpicky. How I was nitpicky I don't know. BTW how Janice understood Jenny's weird Burt bit with no further explanation I truly don't understand at all. God as my witness I don't.
As for what I said to Janice, a bit more explanation, well it is a true tragedy that when most of the time SciFi Channel runs Hocus, Pocus, and Frisbee they remove MCNear's little Alexanbder Hamilton bit which is also sidesplitting as he and the Priest laugh their heads off at his joke. Without this McNear bit (and though I'm not sure there is a good chance Janice missed it) the HPAF ep could seem duller. I don't care about Devine and the ep is all about his Frisby
character. THat's all I was saying. The "Listen Janice" was only sarcastic.
Your obtuse, boorish behavior on this board is impressing no one. From what I just read of this post, I'm being called a liar...twice, no less.
Supposed Lie #1. "BTW how Janice understood Jenny's weird Burt bit with no further explanation I truly don't understand at all. God as my witness I don't."
First off, Jenny doesn't do "bits", and I do understand how it could feel weird for her seeing Burt Reynolds so young. I didn't need any further explanation. I got it. You seem to be the only one who doesn't grasp that concept.
I watched the episode with Cloris Leachman last week and remarked to my husband that it was funny seeing her so young. We also understand that everyone was young once (thanks for passing that tidbit along though), so to accuse Jenny of not understanding the concept of time marching on was a lame argument, and Jenny never used your word freaky by the way.
Just because you don't understand something (for a million dollars), it doesn't mean the rest of us are lying about things. It could be you're a close-minded person who doesn't want to understand things. Maybe you're a combative individual.
Jenny and Kitt are reasonable people who were simply having a discussion about an episode when you jumped in with your sarcastic remark to Jenny implying that she was being stupid or whatever because of her Burt statement. Your second reply to her was downright mean-spirited. Why the indictment over such an innocuous statement?
Supposed Lie #2. "Without this McNear bit (and though I'm not sure there is a good chance Janice missed it)".
I did see Hocus, Pocus and Frisby uncut, and I still found it boring. I don't share your enthusiasm about that line being hilarious. That's the truth. Again, if someone doesn't agree with you, it doesn't mean that they're lying.
Your "Listen Janice. Howard McNear had the single funniest line ever spoken on TZ in Hocus, Pocus, and Frisbee." statement is not a fact but your opinion of which you're entitled to. I just don't share it.
So for all of your "God is my witness and for a million dollars, I don't understand" declarations, I'll say that I believe that you don't understand these simplistic statements.
I really believe you. And that's the truth.

Janice, to me it means nothing to see people I recognize younger than I'm used to seeing them. I was never fascinated by pictures of my parents as kids or anyone as toddlers. It's simply seeing them younger. That's all. Nothing strange about that to me one bit. That's the truth. I didn't even imply you were a liar. Right off I believed you believed you understood why Jenny found the sight of Burt weird on TZ. I just didn't see how you understood her when she did not initially elaborate. I was simply utterly confused. This youth angle never dawned me till it was bluntly pointed out. For a short time I thought that Jenny found Burt odd looking without a mustache but then I recalled he was in fact clean shaven in many films. Honestly no harm was ever meant by me to you or Jenny or Kitty. Have a nice day or night you three. And I mean that.
