You set "invisible" mode by clicking on the "user cp" button at the top of the screen, then click on "edit options." The first line on that screen is for the invisible mode setting.

You can tell if you are logged in by going to the main Sitcoms Online Message Boards page. If you are signed in your user name appears in the top right corner.

When a user is in invisible mode, they aren't counted in the total of members currently online list on the main page. For example, if I was in invisible mode, I would be on the boards but you wouldn't see my user name on the members currently online total.
