Does Rankin - Bass still do shows? I haven't seen anything in ages. I know they have a website, but what have they done lately??

Red face

My favorite has to be Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer only because my son tells me that I'm the little dolly at the end of the movie. (Sniff)........

Plus he tells me to sing the song.....
There's always tomorrow
For dreams that come true......... (A song in the movie sunged by the doe)

I Almost forgot...

Another great special, which is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year, is "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol."

It has some great songs.

I believe they just released it on DVD to boot.

I've got Mr. Magoo's Christmas on video. You're right, that is another classic.

The TV Guide for the week of November 23-29 has a lot of information about upcoming Christmas programs!

Be sure to look it up.

ABC Family looks like it will have a Christmas show every night throughout December.

Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July Monday, December 2 (7:00 - 9:00 pm ET): Rudolph's red nose is about to become a burned-out bulb and Frosty The Snowman will be reduced to a slightly chilly puddle unless Santa Claus can save them from a fiendish wizard. Features the voices of Red Button, Ethel Merman and Mickey Rooney. Encore presentation on Thursday, December 19, at 6:00pm.

^ I have to catch that it sounds really good.

It was OK, but to me it wasn't Christmassy enough.

Did this ever air? Maybe I missed it...

Also, did anyone else find any new/old cartoon Christmas shows they really loved??

My favorites (of those I've seen and remember): A Charlie Brown Christmas, Garfield Christmas, SC is Coming to Town (that's the one with Fred Astaire, right?), the Muppet Christmas movies (if they count), How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph, the Rugrats specials, and what was that one called where the bear cub wanted to stay up to see Santa? The mother bear had Wilma Flintstone's voice. I've never seen the Ziggy one, but I'm sure I would like it, and the Flintstones and Yogi Bear too, if I could remember them.

The one I really hated: Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.
