I was dissapointed how they never used so many ideas. They could have had an episode where Angela and Shawn are insulted because they are both different colours. Also, I was really dissapointed how they dropped John Turner from the show. I thought that that situation had a lot of untapped potention. I mean they could have had so many more great story lines. I also liked the friend that Eric used to bring home with him in the earlier episodes. I know him because he was on Full House before as DJ's boyfriend. Anyway, I was enjoying the Eric character with his funny remarks, but they went too far when he was trying to kill Topanga and he was sneaking around everywhere. I just thought that his character was getting crazy. And where is the dean? Feeny doesn't even mention where she is half of the time. I also think that the most under used and useless character was Morgan. She was in like 15 episodes out of 100, I mean that's just sad. Anyway, I think they could have continued the show, they just needed to shake up the show and do something drastic to change it. I like how they changed the show and added Angela and Jack in season 5, that was good. They should have done something like that for season 8. I just think that the show rushed them through high school too quickly and they could have had a drugs storyline or something more serious. I mean they should have dealt with serious topics, not just silly ones. That' s just my opinion, please comment.

I think they didnt want to go with the touche' subjects because of the younger kids watching the show BUT I would have liked to see more of the Shawn and Angela thing and more of John Turner
and Yeah even Jason (Erics friend) I know all about him because I use to have a friend that was in love with him so basically I agree

The time I enjoyed the most was when they got older. I think that they could have gotten 3 more seasons out of the show, since the kids could start having adult problems. The only problem I see is that then they would lose their viewers since it is a kid's show. I do think that they should have made it to 200 episodes. I mean it appeared that they wear going to keep going with the show after Corey and Topanga got married. What happened? Was the show cancelled? The New York episode could have been the beginning of so many new shows.

There was an episode on drinking (not played by Disney so I can't see them playing any episodes on drugs).

Sean, Cory and Topanga were too old. In a way, it got almost comical. Even the adults were looking old for the show. As for Eric, he's a great comedic actor, but it'd be almost pathetic for him to stay on. He's what ... almost 30?
I disagree, Eric was never the brightest bulb on the tree. He was always doing and saying stupid things, it just got empahsized more in the later seasons.

I don't think they were too old, In real life they were close to the same age as their characters.

Lots of actors play characters that are way younger than they are in real life. I mean the cast of Beverly Hills 90210, most of them were in the late twenties to early thirties and they were playing 15 and 16 year olds. Tom Welling of Smallville is 25 and he plays a 15 year old on the show. Lots of actors do this, it's a common thing.

Up until the last couple seasons, Eric kept on trying to get into college; he wracked his brain while studying for ACT's; he contemplated his life on a summer road trip with Cory; he played a very fun & loving "daddy" for a while to his girlfriends son; he finally got into a university; and we find out he is a fan of the museum arts.

During the last couple of seasons, his stupidity is so severe that none of his previous actions would even be possible. It gets so bad, in fact, that Allen, Amy & Mr. Feeney seriously question if he'd be able to last in the real world. Doesn't the old Eric demonstrate that he can? Would the old Eric give a perfect stranger money he's supposed to deposit at the bank (and demonstrate his "happy dance"?)?

I think not.

The storylines got boring; so the writers got desperate; so Eric got stupid; so the show became lousy; so the show got dumped
