The Giants can't keep talent around long enough? Let's review...
Bonds has been on the team nearly a decade, so has Dusty Baker. Kent has been on the team for six seasons, JT Snow, the same. Aurilia is pushing five years. And Nen has been on for a few seasons as well. And of course Barry can't do it alone. The reason we lost the series is because of the bullpen(which usually is solid) falling apart in the seventh inning of game 5. It wasn't Barry's fault (this is the same player batting 500. in the series, hitting a home run at his first at bat). Gosh, most of you are regarding the Giants as if they were the Yankees. That's harsh. It's not like the Giants made the Red Sox lose the wild card race. Or the Mariners for that matter... It was their chance, before all the old timers call it a day. They blew it, which is rather sad... |
