LWL really was an excellent sitcom which was put into a terribly timeslot. It could've been as successful as her other shows, but that timeslot was just wicked. I'm even surprised that LWL received ratings in the 40's and 50's....I would've expected even worse.

Bram And Alice wasn't nearly as bad as the critics said it was. It needed some work, I'll grant you that, but they never had the chance.

There are other shows that premiered that were far worse..

DELTA (ABC, 1992-93): De;ta Burke as a country singer

THE ROYAL FAMILY (CBS, 1991-92): Redd Foxx and Della Reese as retirees suddenly faced with their daughter and her kids moving home.

THE FIVE MRS. BUCHANANS (CBS, 1994-95): Four women with nothing in common except pure hatred of their mother in law.

MY SISTER SAM (CBS, 1986-88): Pam Dawber and Rebecca Schaeffer as sisters living together in San Francisco.

Anyone remember "Cleghorne!" with comedianne Ellen Cleghorne she played Ellen Carlson. i never seen it was it any good?

the 80s show (even tho it was stupid, i wouldve liked to see it at least go for like 3 seasons)
USA High (it went for awhile but i wish it wouldve went longer, plus it only aired on USA Network)
