The definition of kitsch is basically trashy pop culture that everyone likes just because of its trashiness or outlandishness.
Stuff like, errrrr, the Spice Girls. It's basically memorabilia we're talking about, more than the actual person, etc.

Avril "Queen of Kitsch"?? I guess I haven't heard of her, but I have a feeling she's not as bad as "QOK" or "drug-addicted bitch."

Some of you people need to calm down... I won't say any names, but 2 of you know who you are. If you're trying to get your point across, personally attacking someone is not the way to go. Avril gets this kind of bad rap just because she is so beautiful. Just because she's the most beautiful vocalist of today's singers, some people envy her. I love her, especially those enchanting eyes.

I thought kitsch was a good thing.......and I still think it is......but I truly do hate Avril......she's so dern annoying and overrated. I mean.....oh kewl it's a neck tie wow a necktie....ON A GIRL that is so interesting. Come on Kristina, I know it's coming, and trust me I'm ready for it!

I can't speak for anyone else but I find Avril annoying cos I'm sick of people going on about how she's so talented and she's a total "rock chick" - the next Alanis Morrisette.
I know Avril can't help what people are saying about her but it just really p#sses me off.
IMO, Avril is just another manufactured pop act and, as a real rock fan, I find it insulting that people are labelling her as a rock act.
Granted, 'Complicated' is a nice enough tune, but I wouldn't buy it and it's definately not rock or punk!

Not trying to start a fight. And she IS annoying, I mean, how many hangovers can a person fake? And this is coming from a person who hates pop, and who hates rock punk whatever that crap is called.

So what, its the music that counts!! You are putting all this against HER, her music is good so what if she is a poser or whatever people call her, I still like her music. Why would her appearance affect the way I think of her music? And I think there is nothing wrong with how she looks or acts, she is pretty, nice, funny, talented, and cool imo. You don't know her so don't even try to act like you do and neither do I.

actually she looks a little drunk in that pic in ur sig... But she always kinda looks a little mest up. Then again so do I. Everyone thinks my friends and I come to schopol drunk and stoned every day but were like "No... we just slur and fall alot." seriously were weerd. avrils cool. I'm like that. I slur my speech quite a bit even when I'm sober. The people that I work with think I turn up to work drunk but I've never been drunk at the office.

I wanna know why everyone thinks she's so good looking. I don't find her attractive at all.
