Kids wise it is, but the private schools in Massachusetts are 2 years behind on curriculum purposes. Public schools here have MUCH better education

Dang, that is most definately the difference in school systems. My teacher apologizes when she even THINKS about telling us to shut-up. I couldn't begin to imagine any of my teachers cussing, especially when they get onto the students for coming close to doing so...

maybe you could speak to him about it and let him now that it bothers you and if he still continues talk to your principle or something.

Hah. My biology teacher gave us this huge lecture about shut up. He said "I have a dog at home. I didn't even want the dog. I hate it...but as much as I hate it, I have never once told it to shut up."

I had several teachers in high school that would cuss once in a long while. But then my english teacher would punish her students if she heard them say "shut up" or "stupid."

I go to a public school, and the teachers aren't too bad..

HOWEVER, this summer, when I was taking courses at a highschool, a teacher told a student to step outside (we were at the school library at the time) because he was cursing out this other kid.

The student said "no," the teacher started screaming at him, telling him to "Get the hell out." Then the kid shoved the teacher, and he fell. (He was pretty old and wasn't exactly too stable.) The teacher picked up a textbook and flung it at the kid. Well, obviously then, everyone was gathered around them.

Afterwards, the teacher quit the next day and the kid got kicked out of the summer program. -The end.

yah the privet school in our town wasnt as good as the middle school which was public, and if you live in certains towns in the state such as I it is pointless to spend bout 10 grand a year to go to privet school because are public school is wicked good for one, one of the tops in the state...I know the surrounding towns have also very good systems...but it might just be the 'burbs I dont know bout other parts of the state
