Thats because Sam was a witch not a Genie!!
Major Nelson and Jeannie didn't get married untill the last season and most of the time when they were married she would call him darling.

By the way I dream of Jeannie had Larry Hagman one of the biggest stars in televison history

Jeannie would win! Samantha couldnt undo other witches spells, but Jeannie could. Everything her sister ever done to Major Nelson, Jeannie could fix. Lets see Samantha save Darrin from some of Endora's crazy spells........she couldnt! It was one of her weaknesses. But there is one thing that's the same for both shows........both Sam and Jeannie's mothers couldnt stand their husbands/masters. I wonder why? I never could understand it.

That's right. After they were married she called him "darling" and "Anthony". In fact, Tony insisted that she didnt call him master after they were married!

Cool Bewitched!!

"I Dream of Jeannie" I used to like alot, but after awhile her flightiness gets on my nerves. "Bewitched" is much better, it has more characters and versatility to hold your interest, and best of all, it always makes me laugh!!

Only because Samantha is not a Genie and Darrin is her husband. Jeannie is a Genie. All Genies have masters, and Major Nelson is not her husband. However, Jeannie always did her own thing, and would turn Major Nelson into everything under the sun. Jeannie had Major Nelson wrapped around her bottle.

But Darrin certainly acted like Samantha's master. Sam (meekly and almost shaking) usually gave in or agreed with Darrin's demands.

Also, it still doesn't change the fact that personality-wise (regardless of what she called Major Nelson), Jeannie was cooler than Samantha. Samantha was more square, conservative, and even a bit uptight. Whereas, Jeannie was a lot more fun, spirited, outgoing, daring, and sassy. That, to me, is cool.

I'm going with Sam because she was more level-headed than Jeannie. She was stotally focused on the task at hand. Jeannie I think could get more easily distracted, imho.
