A lot of times we wouldn't. But there are two dead SO members I know about: veggie-tarie-jenn, who Schmoopie was friends with, and Jeff Russell, who I and others from here were friends with on Facebook. Jeff's user name here was JAlanRuss72.

I looked Jeff up yesterday, his last post was January 2014. veggie-tarie-jenn I think was in 2018.

I talked to Zoneboy about this, and he said that a general thread is too morbid and a thread for everyone is not necessary.

I get what he's saying but on the other hand death is a part of the cycle of life. It could be done in a very respectful way, not a morbid way.

You're right. What I was thinking of doing is just creating a general obituary thread in the individual sub-boards or Chit Chat.
