Wow!

American Housewife keeps getting moved around every year.

Sorry off Subject just random thoughts...

It’s a Shame TGIF didn’t work for them. They should of got Fuller House & Girl Meets World.
I have heard rumors that Fuller House wants to do a Some sort of Spin off, so maybe they could do that on Friday’s. Have 2 Woman cousins for Perfect Strangers. They should bring back The Kids Are Alright it follows that Just The 10 Of Us type of feel. Have a male manny for a Mr.Belvedere type of show.

I wonder if Modern Family will eventually get a Spin off?
Perhaps Dylan Haylie & the twins with Joe & Alex & Manny and Luke & Lilly. (While Jay & Gloria & Phil & Clair & Cam & Mitch make guess appearances)?

I know it’s early but my guess for Fall 2020.

Tuesday’s
8pm The Connors
8:30pm New Comedy
9pm The Goldbergs
9:30pm Schooled

Wednesday’s
8pm American Housewife
8:30pm mixed-ish
9pm black-ish
9:30pm New Comedy

My guess for ABC Network Tuesdays in 2020-21:

8:00 pm: The Conners
8:30 pm: Mixed-Ish
9:00 pm: Black-Ish
9:30 pm: New Comedy
10:00 pm: The Good Doctor

I think Mixed-Ish and Black-Ish should both be bumped-up by a half-hour. Since ABC does not want to have Mixed-Ish at 9:30, 8:30 would be a better option for it, and that way Black-Ish gets back its anchor slot back. American Housewife can stay on Wednesdays-at-9 since ABC considers it their designated successor to Modern Family in that slot, and it would be stupid to change AH's timeslot yet again, because that would be just to bury it. And if the NYPD Blue reboot doesn't get picked-up, The Good Doctor would be the next best option to improve what's been a perennial deathslot for about a decade and a half. Mondays at 10 can go to a new drama (in case The Baker and the Beauty fails).

I know Modern Family has already wrapped and it’s Series Finale will be April 8th 2020.

Any word if The Conners & Bless this Mess & mixed-ish & black ish & The Goldbergs & Schooled & American Housewife & Single Parents have finished filming for this season? If not will the Finales come during the Summer and or will the Finales maybe air in the Fall? Or do you think all these Sitcoms will end there season with whatever episode they finished filming before things happened?

Unless it is a show that has been announced for a final season like Supernatural, the shows having to end their season early will just take off where they left when the new season begins in September. I don't see any of them wasting a new episode in the summer, maybe next season will have an extended order for more shows.

Good points Catsrule. Do you think than any shows will be cancelled than this season even if they didn’t finish the season?

If anything more shows will be renewed this year than normally would have been because of pilot season being disrupted.

One point I want to bring up on this is that the IOC already decided to postpone this year's Tokyo Olympics to the Spring of 2021 as a consequence of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (Yes, I know the Olympics air on NBC, but still, you don't want to waste new episodes against the Olympics, either). What if the pandemic wanes in late-April or early-May (which would be around Upfronts time), and the regular-season shows go right back into production on their unfinished episodes for this season, and the networks order a special "Summer season" for the period in which the Tokyo Olympics were due to take place. Yes, I know they will risk lower-than-usual viewership then. If not, well, we could definitely be looking at a 29-episode (!) season of Grey's Anatomy next year (if storyline plans are unchanged and there's no WGA strike).

But what about ABC's Summer game shows, like Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid, and Match Game? Will heir next seasons end up being scrapped, too, because of the COVID-19 disruption?

SCHEDULING UPDATE: Effective Thursday, April 16, Station 19 will move into Grey's Anatomy's new/old timeslot at 9 pm for the last four episodes of its current third season. This comes after production of Grey's Anatomy's 16th season was cut short at 21 episodes due to the current COVID-19 pandemic; GA's season finale was on April 9.

A premiere date has FINALLY been announced for the seventh and final season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: May 27. It will air on Wednesdays at 10 pm. Also, ABC will still have some of their "Fun & Games" roster returning this Summer. And a new true-crime series from ABC News, The Genetic Detective, will premiere on Tuesday, May 19, at 10 pm.

I think on May 12 is when ABC airs their Garry Marshall tribute from 8-10.

If some of the renewed shows or new shows can’t return in the Fall do you think ABC will bring some of its best schedules and shows from the past back?

It Would be great to see shows like, the middle and Who’s The Boss? and Growing Pains and Home Improvement and Roseanne and The Wonder Years and Perfect Strangers and Full House and Mr.Belvedere and Just The 10 Of Us and Family Matters and Boy Meets World and The Brady Bunch and much more back on ABC Primetime!!
