I don't know why they didn't at least try to spruce up the place a bit? It was a dump, but some curtains, pictures on the wall and sone knick knacks would have made it look better!!

And the worst part was no sofa, not even a comfy chair!! I would have furnished that front area ,it was small but the best we could with some living room stuff, a comfortable place to sit. And maybe just had a very small little two chair table. They had that really big table taking up so much room, that instead could have been more like a living room.

They probably took the fire escape to an outhouse.

Really! And even if they had a sofa, no TV to watch (except briefly when he and Norton bought one together). And no phone to talk on.

The Sheffield's house was nice.

Also the Cosby house and Full House's house ( I didn't like these two shows very much , but their houses were cool)!

Yeah only the chairs and the table for comfort. As I think of it, Green Acre's was a step up in comfort but the walls needed work. Kramden's place might have been structurely sound but drab. The Douglas's had nice furniture but the place could have tumbled at any time. I know this topic is who had the best house to live, I somehow have gone the other way.

Leave It To Beaver - first or second house. The first house I liked the little sitting area behind the living room.

Coach - Coach's log cabin

The Brady Bunch - despite the exterior not matching the interior, I always liked the layout of the house. Though if I lived there I would put glass in the windows and sliding glass doors.

I Love Lucy - Connecticut house
