The role of Niles on Frasier was specifically invented for David Hyde Pierce. On Cheers, Frasier was an only child but when they saw the resemblance between Kelsey and DHP, they cast DHP as Niles on Frasier and the rest is history.

I just took the posters babalus sentence as . If one is fat, skinny, plain, beautiful, short, asian, african american, bald,etc one shouldn't be on tv. There are all sort of lovely people.

The point isn't there are all kinds of people in the world. Everyone knows that. Just as everyone knows that Lisa Welchel's are the ones that get on TV and Mindy Cohn's don't. If you have a problem with that blame TV producers, not me. I was stating the truth.
