One time when I saw her interviewed she was asked which movie she had the worst time making. She said "Under the Rainbow" but didn't elaborate. To me that was her way of saying she didn't like Chevy Chase. Then I instantly liked her. Unfortunately she was her own worst enemy. And Chevy Chase is still here.

I've also heard Chevy Chase is a real d*ck. Many other actors and actresses haven't had kind things to say about him.

On a more positive note, I adored Carrie; she was real and expended a lot of effort to help those with mental health issues. I'm really going to miss her.

Debbie Reynolds Rushed to Hospital for Possible Stroke

12/28/2016 1:36 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Debbie Reynolds just suffered a medical emergency, which we're told is a possible stroke ... and EMTs just raced to the scene, TMZ has learned.

Debbie was at her son Todd Fisher's home in Beverly Hills and just after 1 PM someone from the house called 911.

We're told 84-year-old Debbie, whose daughter, Carrie, died Tuesday, has been distraught since Carrie's emergency Friday on a United jet.

Family sources tell us they called 911 to report a possible stroke.

The ambulance just took Debbie to a nearby emergency room.

Debbie was at Todd's house discussing funeral plans for Carrie.

Story developing ...

Imagine the stress Debbie would have been under after those long days worrying about her daughter. At her age, not good. Hope she recovers.

I think this is true for so many of us "of a certain age".

Obviously I did not know Ms. Fisher, but she sure seemed like a bright, fun and witty person. And boy, was she wonderful in the role of Princess Leia. She was "badass" (a term I loathe) before it became fashionable and she didn't make a big deal about it; she just grabbed the laser rifle and took charge.

RIP Princess

She's since elaborated on her experience with that movie over the years several times. Had to do with her erratic behavior, extreme weight loss, drugs, and having a seizure on set, and being diagnosed with bipolar the first time.

My thoughts are with Carrie's brother Todd, her half sisters Joely and Tricia Leigh and Carrie's daughter Billie Lourd.
The deaths of Carrie and Debbie within just a day of each other is truly a devastating loss. It's going to take a long time to get over this. Carrie should of had much more time on this earth, 60 years is just not long enough. Debbie is gone only because she wanted to be with Carrie, and now she is.
Rest in Peace, Debbie. And Carrie, may the force always be with you. You may be gone but Princess Leia will live in our hearts forever.
