Wow... She is born in the same year as my maternal grandfather and my paternal grandmother. Needless to say, they both passed away many years ago (1961 and 1985 respectively).

That myth has been debunked.

DYK that in Finland, some traffic fines, as well as fines for shoplifting and violating securities-exchange laws, are assessed based on income. The
rich could wind up paying thousands of dollars.

I read that somewhere a long time ago.

He used to tell the neighborhood children stories about this magical land and one day one of the kids asked him "But Mr. Baum, what's the name of this place?" He hesitated for a couple seconds and looked around the room. The first thing that caught his attention was a file cabinet and a label that said O-Z. So he said to the kids "OZ. The name of the land is OZ."

DYK James Buchanan, according to some historians, he was also gay. His niece and ward Harriet Lane (an orphan) filled the position of “first lady” during his presidency. His constant companion was William Rufus King.
So noticeable, that Andrew Jackson referred to them as "Miss Nancy" and
"Aunt Fancy". Not only is he regarded as the first gay U.S. president, he
ranks as one of our worst. He did nothing to stop the succession of the
states, under his watch. He, basically, passed the problem to the next
president, who, was Abraham Lincoln.

DYK that only 5 United States presidents had brown eyes?

"...in all of U.S. history, only five presidents had brown eyes – John Quincy Adams, Andrew Johnson, Chester A. Arthur, LBJ and Nixon. All the rest were clearly described with blue, grey, or hazel eyes."

Actually 6 I guess? This was written before Obama was in office!
