Tisha: I take after my mom.She was the resident gossip at Eastland, so eavesdropping is one of my FAVORITE things to do as well.

Mrs. G: I've had practice.(laughs)
Tisha: No kidding!(laughs) Anyway, it's just that, well, you know, I haven't been making friends very well at Eastland, because everyone already has their cliques and groups. (Mrs. G nods) So, I was hoping I could be friends with Alexis.
Mrs. G: Hoping? Why can't you?
Tisha: Oh, you know, she gave me the whole, " We're completely different" speech. (looks like she's gonna cry)
Mrs. G: (hugs Tisha) She'll come around.
Tisha: (almost crying) I'm not so convinced she will. Are you sure?
Mrs. G: Well, you know, I can't be positive, but most things I set my mind to I get done, and I'm positive I can show hertwo people who were opposites in everyway, but they were BEST friends.

Mrs. G: Yeup.
Tisha: (hugs Mrs. G) Thanks Mrs. G!
Mrs. G: YEUP!(to herself) Where's our dear Alex?

Mrs. G: OK, I'll leave you alone. By the way, don't forget to change the sheets in every room before noon.
Alex: (looks at watch) it's 11:30!
Mrs. G: Better get cracking.
