I forgot Tony Micelli - Who's the boss. He is definitely one of my favorite characters. I love Tony Danza , so I would say Tony from Taxi too, but I don't like that show Taxi at all except to see Tony!

OK, this is impossible to narrow to just 10 classic male characters. So I will create a subcategory of shows in which all the male characters would qualify as "classic" to me. I know that is cheating, but how can you possible choose between Andy & Barney, Mr. Carlson or Les Nessman, or Oliver Douglas and Mr. Haney?!?!? So here is my list:
