Agreed! That is a pile of BS. We do not prefer this smooth transition. I think Antenna TV is really afraid some viewers will change the channel once the end credits start, so they are trying to prevent that by starting the next episode immediately so they don't lose viewers.

It would be nice if they did it as a one day thing part of a marathon but that's it

The next thing will be cutting down on the theme songs. That's how it starts.

That would be it for me. No more Antenna TV for me. Just like TBS does on some of their shows which is why I don't watch it.

That's how they should run their commercials, all at the same time on 4 separate little screens.

TV One has changed the closing credits for the Jeffersons

1. The closing credits appear on the screen toward the end of the episode

2. The closing theme is removed

Why the hell did they decide to do that? LOL
Because it frees up another 30 seconds or so of time to run another commercial. Unlike 20 or 30 years ago, there are so many channels, so the viewing audience is split up into small pieces. A typical broadcast outlet can only charge an advertiser a fraction of what they could charge years ago to air a commercial because the viewing audience is so relatively small. With lesser ad revenue per commercial, they have to make up the difference by running more commercials. So they have to squeeze in a commercial wherever they can.

But reasonably speaking, how many catheters can they except to sell in a day?
