I want to say I read an article that John Catchings died some years ago, but it's been a looooong time.

how the heck does "carol" make 100,000 per year? that's not fair! also, if I were her I would have changed my name and moved out of state. most likely the killer is still alive and knows her name and city. with the internet I would change my name. plus it would be pretty cool to change my boring name.

She now lives in East Lyme, Connecticut. That's about 50 miles south of where she was shot. She has a husband Kevin and two daughters, Allison and Christina.

She is the Supervising Clinician at the Department of Children and Families Agency.

She doesn't appear to have a Facebook page. Her daughter Allison has a twitter account, but that's the closest thing I could find.

I assume there aren't any developments in her attack because they would be posted online.

my update on UM:

Bonnie update on where are they now CNN feb 22, 2014: "today our special guest on where are they now is bonnie wilder.

Bonnie speaks: 'today I am a special agent for the fbi and help them catch store and money fraudsters. basically I screwed a bunch of people over financially and now I am getting paid money to prevent it. the Lord now loves me. sometimes I lose lots of weight and pose for playboy and walk the aisles of Victoria's Secret. Then I gain a lot of weight after getting depressed for screwing so many people over like Lisa Pez Dispenser'."

by the way-Bonnie got off on 1 million dollars - the department store decided to not press charges against her. they used their insurance to make up the difference and perhaps still take a loss. Well if I stole $500 or $5000 from a department store today I would get arrested and sentenced to jail or prison. That is not fair! you stupid department store that let Bonnie get away with murder.

Donny Hansen - I still think he had something to do with his sisters' deaths. Hope he's loving his freedom!

Bill Day-- I know that some time ago his daughter posted here and said they were going to go to France to see if Christophe was really dead or if Betty Lied about it all.

Yes. I remember that. The concept always sounded horrifying but not out of the realm of something Betty would pull.

I always thought Miriam was a little off her rocker. Was there ever any evidence that she was in foster care? I thought there wasn't, but maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

I believe Larry Race is out of prison and married again.

My choices:

Colleen Ritter
Denise (Randall Utterback case)
Theresa Stamper

I kind of thought so too. I want to say that the story went that Miriam's mother did admit to her father having "emotional problems" throughout his life, but denied that she was ever in foster care. Miriam I believe claimed something to the effect that because adoption and temporary foster care records were very close-hold and hush-hush back in the 1940s, they were simply sealed and she had no access to them. As for Mike and Pat McGuire, after the story aired someone did call in and say those people actually existed (I think the caller even sent a photo of one of them), but as far as I know nothing ever came of it.

Totally. I wonder if she ever worries about Randall coming back.

Unfortunately, I've always felt that the McGuires were likely contrived by an emotionally devastated little girl whose dreams of a picture-perfect household might have danced a fine line between imagination and reality.*

Has anybody searched census records for this couple? I believe I did several years ago and came up empty-handed.

*Paul Winfield, eat your heart out.

Paul Winfield's been dead for 10 years.

Incidentally, I just saw him on an episode of Family Matters (one of the more emotional episodes and before the show was destroyed by Urkel). It was a pleasant surprise when Carl answered the door and Paul Winfield was standing there. Paul was a BIG man, dwarfed Carl (Reginald VelJohson) who is a big man in his own right.

OT:

Family Matters 1989-1993 > The Urkel Show 1994-a merciful death. I loathed Stefan, the completely implausible Carl/Urkel buddy episodes, and that Laura-Steve-Myra love triangle. That show could've been so much better than what it devolved into.

I loved Reginald VelJohnson and felt like he was about a million times funnier than Jaleel White--even when I was a kid.

Agreed in full. The actress that played Myra sadly died right after the show ended its run.

Jule Caylor is on Facebook, or at least he was the last time I checked. There's not that much to see, other than a bunch of political ramblings. Apparently he has remarried, since there is or was a woman in his profile picture with him. He's 76 years old now.

John Catchings died in 1992 at age 45.
