I gave up on TVLand years ago. I'm way too young to have seen the shows from the 50's, 60's..... but old enough to remember when TVLand aired those great old classic's from that era and they were one of the best but in my book... stick a fork in em, they are done.

Wow!! That lineup has about 2 mins. of thought put into it. Who thought putting 7 hrs. of Gunsmoke was a good idea? And btw, this schedule might have to be revised with all the off the clock crap that they do. So you might have episodes start at 1:12 pm or 3:48 pm.

I want to say TVLand Blows but that seems so redundant as it has been blowing for years now.

Three's Company was already in the Antenna Lineup back in 2011/2012

Five Reasons why TV Land no longer matters

1. Youtube
2. DVD's
3. Antenna TV
4. Me-TV
5. hulu-tv

So just keep getting worst TV land because us fans have other options

TVLand likely took off the shows with the lowest ratings. If they don't make any drastic schedule changes the next time around, I'd say they are pleased with the ratings. Personally, I think its a solid lineup.

7 straight hours of Gunsmoke? I like the show but that's too much. The rest of the schedule is even worse.

But there are 635 episodes. Airing 7 episodes a day, it's still going to take over 100 days to air all the episodes. If the episode order was smaller (like 300) I could see where 7 episodes a day would be a problem, but since its early morning and the episode total is so large, it doesn't matter.

They don't have the rights to all 635 episodes. If they had all the episodes and aired them uncut, I'd probably tape it.

Post TV Land October 2013

I think TV Land should fix their schedule for October with some changes they are:

1. Reduce Gunsmoke and Bonanza airings to 3 episodes a day Weekdays.

2. Put Boston Legal at 4PM and 5PM Weekdays.

3. Please Bring back Home Improvement or air it on Nick at Nite to pick up the share with The Hallmark Channel.

4. Please remove Friends from Nick at Nite and air it every night on TV Land.

Its funny. I was watching a tape from 2003 and it was from TVLand. It was the "last things last" and "first things first" stunts that they used to do. Plus, remember when the end credit crunch would be about the show that was airing next and they would give you a little tidbit about it?

Ahh, the good old days.
