Thank you very much! I thought I was the only one welcoming "Cheers" and "Family Ties". And, I agree with you again, how could people like the VERY overplayed "The Brady Bunch"? I dunno..maybe I just watched it too much on TBS before it came to NAN, but still, I find the show very annoying.

I dislike "Cheers", but maybe my opinion will change when I see it again (One of the Local Stations Where I Live Shows It.....Forgot which one), but I really want to see "Family Ties". I'm gonna tape the marathon......but hey maybe I'll hate it!

JT, I am sorry but YOU are the one that needs to "bug off". I Love Lucy has been a Nick at Nite favorite ever since the show debuted on the channel in 1994. Who cares if the show has been on there for 7 years, so what? The Andy Griffith Show was on TBS for nearly 20 years which is way longer than ILL on N@N. My point is that I feel Nick at Nite should keep all of the fans favorites (MTM,DVD,The Lucy Show,Jeannie,Bewitched, Happy Days,Mork & Mindy,Laverne & Shirley, Three's Company,The Munsters,The Addams Family,I Love Lucy,The Brady Bunch,Gilligan's Island,Dennis the Menace,Rhoda,Bob Newhart Show, ect)from the 50's, 60's, and 70's like in the beginning when it began in 1985. By Adding newer shows like Cheers, Family Ties, Cosby Show, Roseanne, ect is basically making Nick at Nite a non-classic tv channel. Nick at Nite should be a Classic TV Sitcoms Channel rather than a "dump" of newer shows.

Agreed! Full House is another one that doesn't belong on Nick at Nite.

Yes! who do they think they are adding 80's shows, I'm already sick of those cheers commercials! And when they say nick at nite is being taken over by the fox network that is very annoying and what is he carrying a purse? They don't even show the classic 80's shows like newhart or something! And if they want to be 80's why don't they show archie bunkers place and lou grant. And then they're going from 70's to 80's to 90's in 3years what's next! shows that are stil currently on the air! And full house how annoying! And roseanne talk about overplayed Its been in syndication ever since it ended! They think this will get good ratings, there must be more stupid people than I thought!

Personally..I think you are being selfish. Just because you don't like the new programming doesn't mean that other people do too. You are not thinking buisness-wise..the classic shows will not get the ratings...the "new" classics will. Look at how well NAN is doing in the ratings...do you think it was due to I Love Lucy? Or All in The Family? No..its was because of Three's Company and Differn't Strokes (newer shows). And think about..I mean, young children watch NAN, and do you think they want to see an old black and white sitcom? No..they want to see newer things...things that are closer to their time.

And..btw, most of the shows that you have named that need to be on NAN have ALREADY been on NAN...their time is up. Its time for programs that have not been on NAN, newer things.....

You guys are nailing this. This is very true. I agree. Full house I can accept as a NAN show but I would wait another 7 years before adding the show. I did get Cheers on my local station. I really wasn't into the show too much. I preffered Taxi over Cheers.

Roseanne coming to a Nickelodeon network?Uh........No! HOw many eps will they have to skip. Don't get me wrong I love this show, but it is not NAN material though. TBS can keep this one. BTW a few years back I was teasing my brother about Roseanne coming to TBS and was only kidding. The next thing I know I see a promo for the show on TBS from 1998. I'm like Dang! Then I make a joke about Roseanne coming to NAN last year on the board and then Blam! Let the Oxygen network take this one.

I don't get it......why did Nick-At-Nite ever call it an Un-Realathon when we deal with these situations everyday?

anyone know the current ratings for the shows on now? I can't stand cheers, cosby I have on once in awhile but it's just to corny, Coach doesn't interest me. None of the 80's shows besides the facts of life really interested me. All in the family is now being pushed back to 2am soon for some goofy 80's show.

In a few years, watch them add a Nick Snick on Saturday and Sunday with the Fresh Prince and shows like that.

What N@N needs to do is keep the shows they have now and quit doing the double takes. Just one episode of every show and repeat that episode later. Of course, that is what N@N used to do and works out better for all the shows.

Here's my schedule, Sunday-Thursday

9 p.m., 1:30 The Cosby Show
9:30, 2 a.m. Family Ties
10 p.m., 2:30Cheers
10:30, 3 a.m. Coach
11 p.m., 3:30 All in the Family
11:30, 4 a.m. Three's Company
12 a.m., 4:30 The Brady Bunch
12:30, 5 a.m. Happy Days
1 a.m., 5:30 Charles in Charge

All the times are eastern.

On Friday and Saturday, the first airings of Cosby and Family Ties would be skipped. The schedule would go straight from the kid's shows to Cheers. That would keep the schedule a bit more stable and less confusing. No one likes to tune in for Cheers and see Cosby.
