Too much free time shows me they were head to head for 2 seasons.

Isn't it funny? I watch ODAAT and CHIPS all the time now , but back than I didn't! Early 80's I wasn't having to be on my parents curfew anymore and I wasn't married yet being in the house in the evenings all the time cause of a a husband and kids yet! So around that time I didn't watch TV like I do now or when I was real young !

But Sunday night I wasn't out late? Went to work on Monday! What was on besides CHIPS or ODAAT that I might have been watching? Cause I do remember watching Alice and that was on Sundays. I didn't really watch it , but I remember Archie Bunker's place being on and my Dad watching it!

I guess I was talking on the phone or listening to music in my bedroom!

I watched the CBS Sunday lineup in the early 80's. I stopped watching CHIPS when they left Saturday nights.
