I find it to be the exact opposite, actually. TeenNick isn't the place for 90's sitcoms anymore. For example, in 2008 they would air Growing Pains weekday mornings at 11AM and it was just totally out of place with every other program they were airing.

That's another show I wish ABC Family would bring back.

I will say this, TeenNick has a habit of showing shows and then taking them off real fast. Look at Full House, The Hills, Growing Pains and Saved by The Bell. Those 4 shows started off on TeenNick and as soon as they started on TeenNick, they left TeenNick.

Minor change...That '70s Show is now every night 11pm-12am and 3-4am instead of Sun-Fri.

I really, really hope That 70s Show does well. I think it will. Hopefully they will do something like I suggested and air it 9-10pm? when Friends comes, which I think will definitely get 11pm. Something just gives me the feeling that Everybody Hates Chris is the weaker link in primetime. I bet 70s will do better.

I wouldn't look for Family Matters on TV Land. They never even tried Growing Pains. I don't know how well it would fit anyway.

Side note....wasn't TV Land supposed to get That 70s Show a year or two ago? I keep thinking it was supposed to be in August of whenever. They need new shows more than NAN, especially since they have Friends coming, but that's JMO.

I have to disagree. It was recently announced that Saved by the Bell would be returning and of course there will be the addition of the "90's are All That" block in the fall. Family Matters could easily fit into that block or along side Saved by the Bell.

I don't see how anyone could be surprised at TVland/Nick@nite for bringing that '70's show considering their blunderous moves these past couple of years.

I didn't see a thread for it, but wanted to ask Pav, is Hub keeping Jem as part of the line up, or is it just that one time?

Good point, you're right. I was thinking very short-term like up until the fall a 90's show wouldn't really fit and Saved by the Bell I think of as just a teen show and not really an "era" show if you know what I mean.

I'm so excited for that 90's midnight block come fall. Yeah, definitely Family Matters could fit in there.

Also, agreed with whoever said they keep shows for very short amounts of time. They'll probably do the same with the Judd Apatow shows they acquired today. That's the thing, we always make fun of Hallmark changing their schedule but they just shift timeslots or bring back/ditch I Love Lucy but TeenNick constantly seems to be totally revamping their whole lineup season to season (like fall to winter, winter to summer - not year to year if you got confused by my meaning)

And remember when Growing Pains was on N@N? Lasted all of one week lol

Well, this is extremely fortunate for me because I recently moved and switched from DirecTV to Cox Cable, so I have no TeenNick and couldn't watch That 70's Show at 11pm anymore - it was my nightly ritual.

The only issue is I don't like the "encore" idea; I wish they'd play the previous night's episodes at 11-12, then two "new" (or subsequent) episodes at 3 am. And I'd prefer it to air at 2 am, but oh well, beggars can't be choosy.

I'll never understand why Nick at Nite doesn't air more than a handful of shows. Anyway, it's nice to see That '70s Show on the network. I think it will do well.

Here's something I could see happening this fall;

8:00 My Wife & Kids
8:30 My Wife & Kids
9:00 George Lopez
9:30 George Lopez
10:00 That '70s Show
10:30 That '70s Show
11:00 Friends
11:30 Friends
12:00 Friends
12:30 Friends
1:00 My Wife & Kids
1:30 My Wife & Kids
2:00 George Lopez
2:30 George Lopez
3:00 That '70s Show
3:30 That '70s Show
4:00 Friends
4:30 Friends
5:00 Friends
5:30 Friends
6:00 Everybody Hates Chris
6:30 Everybody Hates Chris

What do you think of the show so far? Is this your first time watching? Will you sample Friends this fall?

That schedule looks good to me....only thing is, after all of these years, I wonder if they would move George Lopez out of the 10pm slot. I think we'll see Chris leave primetime, whatever happens.

I think '70s and Friends will be their next big shows. Lopez will keep doing well, of course.

Yes it will be my first time. If Friends is in the 10pm or 12 midnight slot then yes. 8pm and 9pm, no

Even though I'm a george lopez fan i'm not too upset about the show being yanked from the 10pm slot becase it's been on for 5 years. Hard to believe it's been that long
