and The Brady Bunch started in 1969 but most of its run was in the '70's.

I'm sure if you are the dumbest poster in the history of Sitcomsonline or if this is the dumbest post of Sitcomsonline. I think it's both

The show started in the fall of 89 and that's what 4 months?

I think "Family Matters" is a 90's Sitcom. Just like I feel that "Garfield and Friends" is a 90's cartoon.

Why not use another series a an example? Bonanza ran from 1959 to 1973. As it was on for the entire '60s, and relatively little in other decades, I consider it a 1960s series. It would be just wrong to call it a 1950s show as only a few months were spent in the '50s. That's an extreme example, but I think FM also should be considered a '90s show as so little of the work appeared in the '80s. Saved by the Bell is also a '90s show.

Why so hostile? Its not that serious at all. You can disagree but you don't have to say that.

What about The Love Boat? It started its run in 1977 and ended in 1986. Most of its run is in the 80s, so it should be an 80s sitcoms, though its better days were in the 70s, so it's in the 1970s sitcoms section of the forum instead of the 1980s sitcoms section.
