More superhero cartoons from the '80s. After the brought back Superfriends, I was hoping that they would bring back some marvel toons as well. The toon I want back on the most is "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends." It aired on UPN three years ago but it was promoted incorrectly---the Tv Guide listed it as "Spider-Man", and the UPN promo used footage from the FOX cartoon.

I would love to see some of the Filmation company's cartoons- such as: Star Trek, Zorro, The Lone Ranger, Tarzan, The New Adventures of Gilligan, Your Favorite Martians, Fat Albert, The Brady Kids, and Shazam! (I know this one wasn't a cartoon- but I have fond memories of it.) Does anyone know if Filmation has permitted the Cartoon Network to show any of these? Maybe a letter writing campaign would help. Does anyone agree with me?

"Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm". Sure, Bamm-Bamm turned into a wuss, but they had those great friends: Penny, Moonrock, Wiggy, and Schleprock. Remember Schleprock? Wowzy, wowzy, woo-woo.

I just saw an episode of "Real Life 101," taking place at a TV Syndicator's Convention in New Orleans, and in the background, there was somebody standing around in a huge Daria costume. If Cartoon Network doesn't buy the reruns, maybe someone else will.

I just thought of another one that should be on Cartoon Network:
Emergency +4! Anyone remember that one? |

Beavis & Butthead
I loved that show when MTV used to show them. I have like one tape of them- which I managed to tape it off of one of the late marathons MTV showed. I'm sure somebody has fell asleep at the controls now, because all they show is The Real World on MTV. ------------------ Hottest Men alive: Dale Midkiff Anthony Starke Tim McGraw Jonathan Crombie |
