Even though TV Land has changed it's format in the past 5 years, it appears the new direction they are going in seems to be working. Every reality show they aired has done very well in the ratings

Has there ever been a time when The Beverly Hillbillies has not been on TV Land?

You know I love you king....lol....but that's not the point.....TV Land shouldn't run movies, Cinemax doesn't run "I Love Lucy", if they want to run movies call it MovieLand and the same with reality shows, or call it Realityland. Fox Reality Channel doesn't show "I Love Lucy" either AND NEVER WILL! Viacom brands a channel with a name, changes formats and doesn't have the guts to rename the channel.....at least court became, trutv, etc, etc. MTV means Music Television....no longer true.....VH1 means Video Hits 1....no longer true..........obviously any ratings they garner from new stuff yes will be much greater than a rating for a 50 year old episode of I love Lucy but they started the channel and knew ratings for classic TV can't compare to new stuff.....but are we really suppose to accept that in a 1000+ channel universe there is really no room for a channel that caters to classic TV anymore? I used the expression in another thread that todays cable networks are "monkey see, monkey do"......I mean now sarcastically we really need channels to show more of "That 70's Show", "Roseanne", "Hangin With Mr. Cooper", Saved By The Bell, Mash, the list goes on and on........................now someone will post next I really love "That 70's Show"..........lol...........good watch it 12 times a day and buy all the dvd's while our television heritage of classic TV disappears. I'm done with this editorial post!

I just hope RTN doesn't fold. That's the only channel I have that airs any classic shows. Most of them are dramas but at least they are classic TV.

Then CRAPLAND needs to change their name. Tvland is synonymous with retro television, classic tv, b&w shows, etc. Why all of a sudden do you praise the network? Did you buy stock in the company?

YES..several years went by without the show on the schedule as well as Green Acres...Petticoat Junction is the only show from Henning that never returned from their original program schedule.

We need someone to start a network that loves classic TV and absolutely hates Reality shows.

I'd have a variety of shows from different genres from the '50s till the 80's. Anything after 1990 is a no go.

I'm all for that. We have too many 90's shows that are repeated over and over again on different networks.

We all have our dreams.....as said before I have worked in the television industry for a straight 28 years, no other job ever and I can't even pull it off...we all have the passion but it takes major $$$$$ and you can't even get cable carriage without paying big bucks.....thats why everything classic is finding its way to the internet, but it's just not the same....I'm not an old fart but I'm old school when it comes to TV.....I like the scheduling, the group viewing and sharing TV together all at the same time. So I'll continue to collect and buy DVD's and run my fantasy station in my home where "Ozzie & Harriet" and similar shows glow from my non-plasma, non LCD screen daily and nightly!

I remember the show because it had Priscilla Presley, but that is all I remember abt it. That's Incredible! had some memorable segments. I remember one abt a family that had some kind of mold growing in their home and all over their furniture. They never found out what it actually was.
