Maybe Brad Pitt? He has the blonde hair and he can easily get a body like Matthew....

I don't know. I just can't see Leo

I remember that and wow, I wish I didn't.

I think they shot that one entirely in Europe.

A Captain America film shot overseas. That's irony for you. Or is it? I'm not sure. Can someone get Alanis Morissette to clarify?

brad pitt would probably look silly in blue spandex. he does have the bod though. if leo does get the part though, i'd be howling like a wolf

i was thinking that perhaps ryan reynolds would be ideal. i think he'd make a good captain america. although the thing is, he is canadian. or even paul walker (the fast and the furious).

i just went on the IMDB boards and someone suggested wrestler john cena for the role, whilst another suggested -yikes- ashton kutcher!

DiCaprio. No. They'd have to CGI some muscles onto him. Captain America is a beefy, strong guy. I don't think he's the right type in terms of his acting, physical stuff aside. He's done some good work, but I don't see him as a superhero.

I didn't think it was that bad really, although they do need to go with an American actor. Preferably by an unknown. That low budget C.A. was better than the late 70's tv series.

it looked like something that was made in college using a mini camcorder. the picture quality looked poor, so cheap in fact. although this wouldn't be the first time marvel made 2 different versions of a superhero film using the same protagonist. remember the punisher? one had dolph lundgren in it, the other thomas jane froma few years back, although neither of them translated well on the big screen

Paule Walker is a possibility.

Josh Duhamel (Transformers) could do it too.

Okay, I have been thinking about this for a few days, and here are my casting choices.

Granted a few of these guys are probablt too old, but IMO, they can do it.

Tom Jane - He deserves another shot at playing a comic book hero, considering how God awful that Punisher movie was.

Brenden Frasier - his work on the Mummy movies proves to me that he is a certified ation hero.

Nathan Fillon - yes, he is Canadian, but if you saw him in Serenity, you would agree that he is a great actor, and will be a great American hero.

Yes! I had completely forgotten about him but he was fantastic in the Mummy and plays a great action hero!

thomas jane- perhaps so. he's have to dye his blond though. however he did play a blond hair south african bank robber in 'stander', a year before the punisher film came out

brendon frasier- he does have the muscular build of a superhero

nathan fillon- i have never heard of him but then again, i never watched serenity either
