So I'm watching House and during a commercial break I see a commercial for Til Death. At the end the promo has season finale listed for BOTH TD and BTY. I'm sure they didn't want to change promos at the last minute... Unless FOX is just saying they're canceling it to see how many people will watch the show?

Funny, because I noticed that too. I guess they don't want to reveal that they canceled it until the finale.

I noticed the same thing this morning . . . they probably don't want people knowing they made a bad decision-LOL. Either that, or it isn't exactly the series finale, because they still have 4 more episodes to air. Maybe if they do decide to air those, then they'll call the final one the series finale.

Or, maybe they know something that we don't . . .

So is it FOX promoting the episode at all or are they just mentioning that BTY season's finale will air after the dreadful Til Death?

I also noticed that audiences unlimited are still listing BTY's tapings for today and next Tuesday. I wonder if they're going on with the two last tapings. They updated the cancelation section yesterday but left BTY's dates there..They were the last two episodes out of the eight ordered by FOX post strike.

From the ad my local FOX showed, there was a small shot of the episode, maybe a few seconds along, that said "Season finale of Back to You." Nothing big, but at least they're promoting it at all.

It's good to hear the tapings are still going on. I think that tells us that FOX will still air the other 4 episodes at some point, whether it be in the summer or in the fall. I don't understand why they don't just air them now.

Because trashy 'Moment of Truth' will return in two weeks.

Anyway, I doubt Fox will air the remaining four episodes. I'm hoping they will be included in a DVD release, if there's one.

I think FOX will burn them off somewhere buried in the summer schedule, maybe on a Saturday or Sunday night where no one can find them. If CBS does get this show, maybe FOX could pass them over to them.

Fox owns those episodes, they would never hand them over even if it means burying them and never airing them, ever! Let's pray for a DVD Release and CBS Pick UP!

I've been praying since Saturday

Hopefully 20th FOX will put them out on DVD. They're currently releasing HIMYM, so let's hope they'll release Back to You as well. It would be a shame to not be able to watch them at all.

I found this at the fox website. It was posted by a girl (TeenyTiny (whatever4551) who went to the last taping last night. I'm sure she won't mind me pasting this here. But it's an interesting read. Enjoy!

Well, I just went to the taping of Back To You this evening and I am even more disappointed now about the cancellation than I was when i first heard the bad news. This show is not only a joy to watch at home in my living room, but it was such a joy to watch it live. Even the retakes were hilarious! I just can't even believe that they would cancel this show!? It really doesn't make sense to me at all. Not to mention, I went to a taping of Til Death on Friday (which fox is keeping on for a 3rd season) and comparatively, BTY is solid, fast paced, entertaining and the chemistry between the actors is beyond apparent. All things that were missing from the Til Death taping. The Back To You taping lasted about 3 hours and every minute of it was fantastically hilarious and the best entertainment I have seen in years! It was an honor to be a part of the very last taping (ON FOX!), but CBS NEEDS to pick this show up. There will be a huge void without this show now that we have been given a taste of it. Honestly, the entire audience was laughing so hysterically that it was hard to hear the immediately following jokes/lines, which were usually equally as hilarious so the laughing started all over again! It was seriously so funny and just wonderful to see people laughing so much and enjoying themselves so thoroughly. I loved it!

Seeing Patricia Heaton live was a treat for me because she is that actor I put up on my actors pedestal, especially for this medium and I definitely wasn't disappointed. The chemistry between she & Kelsey JUMPS out at you, whether you are watching it on TV or right there in the studio audience, but Patty is SO captivating! And good grief she looks fantastic, not even just for a 50 year old, but considering that... I want her secrets!

Furthermore, it's hard to tell how an episode is going to turn out when you see it live, but judging by the fact that I was bummed when it was over & time to go--that it just didn't seem long enough after 3 hours--the 22 minutes they edit together will undoubtedly be fabulous and deserve to be seen/aired!

Also, they showed the episode that will air tomorrow before the taping began and you really don't want to miss it! I had tears I was laughing so hard! Great stuff!!! FOX SERIOUSLY GOOFED canceling this COMEDY!

Oh! One more thing. I have to comment on the differences in the BTY and Til Death audience members. BTY had pretty intelligent folks and it was a really comfortable experience, where as Til Death had a very "interesting" audience! I felt like a freak because I didn't come from a rehabilitation center!

I finally cought a promo of the show during AI last night.
I've read many comments, like the one above, that say the episode is hilarious. I saw a promo today during Patty's appearance on RR show and it really looks very funny, to not mention that histerical picture of Chuck and kelly. My point is the promo on FOX doesn't make it justice at all! Hmmm I wonder why ...

I caught a new promo last night . . . it showed a scene from Til Death, then had nothing about Back to You until the last second, when it said "Back to You Series Finale" at the bottom. Are there any other promos that are actually promoting the episode floating around?

BTW, I noticed you changed your Username. I've been wanting to do that for awhile now, I'm just not sure people will recognize me with a new name.

I have seen only one promo... but I don't watch FOX so I can't really tell. The one I saw made it seem like Til Death had the funnier one (and that's streching it by a lot.) The one from BTY just showed Kelly and Chuck saying to Ginger: We had a child! And then Ryan & Gary saying OMG. I mean it's a promo for the season/series finale they could do much better. Showing that PIC alone would make people LOL and tune in ... let alone listen to the jingle "Chuck and Kelly doing it again" I'm telling you, it's hilarious!

Don't worry, we all know who you are by now But to have the ease of mind you can include you're former ID on your signature.
