Eh, persecution is part of your whole deal, enjoy it.

Being a fan of Facts and the 80s I checked out one of her books and aside from the unintentional humor she came accross to me like an insane person.

I can't believe that you would say something so terrible. All of her books are amazing and if you ever get the chance to meet her and hear her speak, you would know how amazing and talented she is. and for those of you who are going to purchase her books from LisaWhelchel.com, she will autograph and personalize anything you buy from her site. We should all start reading one of her books and discuss it on the boards! i personally reccomend "This is my Life"

Irene, you will have to go to Lisa's webpage to buy her books in that most of them are out-of-print. However, this isn't a bad deal since Lisa signs the books!

I'm not sure how you came away from reading one of Lisa's books and found her to be "insane". When I read her books, I found her to be a beautiful human being. Lisa is one of those rare people who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

I read Lisa's wonderful memoir The Facts of Life and Other Lessons My Father Taught Me and it changed my life. I also bought one of her bible study books.
