I noticed. I try not to bash networks. I just stop watching that network/show. Waste of time bitching about it. But TV"crapy"Land is picking all these news shows when there known for showing old shows. I knew it was going down the crapper the day they showed the promo for the Farrah Fawcett (spelling?) show.
Why not pick up 'Charlie's Angels'? Like the American people with a life care what celebs are doing. Plus, that's why we have "E!"

at least they're still showing I LOVE LUCY, LEAVE IT TO BEAVER, and ANDY GRIFFITH-and they're bringing back THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and HOGANS HEROES. But those are the only good things about them.

they did pick up "CHARLIES ANGELS" a few years ago, but it didn't last very long.

I can't believe they are putting Just Shoot Me on TVLand. Its dumb. TVLand is supposed to be Classic TV and that is not a classic tv show. The Cosby Show is a classic show and that has been on TVLand alot. I don't even watch TVLand that much anymore. Only sometimes.

"MAD ABOT YOU" is STILL on NICK AT NITE, and so's "MURPHY BROWN". I saw them listed. They're only on every once in a while though, at around 5 or 5:30 in the morning.

The reason TV Land is bashed by many many people is because it it very very bad. One poor decision after another. But if I may respectfully disagree, it's not a waste of time to complain about them. I only spend a very tiny fraction of my time & posts on TV Land--the same amt theyseem to sepnd tyring to fulfill their original objective. My solution is not to subscribe & use the $ savings to buy DVD sets of the shows I love.

Don't be surprise if those shows are too soon gone. It's not about showing great classics anymore;it's about showing whatever the favor of the moment is,whatever appears to the 18-24 year olds and pleasing them! All network no matter how good decide to go down that road of catering to the 18-24 year old because they spend the most money(On junk they don't need),or at least, that's the sterotype.

I wouldn't need to complain if they didn't make dumbass decisions. I mean every once in a while a network does something unfavorable, but with TVLand and N@N, it's ridiculous.

You will find my rants about TVLand (and about a dozen other networks that have gone down the drain) all over the boards. I gave up on tv a few years ago except for sports and a select few channels on the digital tier of cable. Now I just buy dvds of my shows either legit or from people on I-Offer. I found a VHS tape with over 3 hours of programming from TVLand in 1996 and watching it made me sick because I got a good comparison of what it was and now is. The tape I have has: Ed Sullivan Show, Green Acres, Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, Phil Silvers Show, and Mannix. All pre-1980 shows which is what TVLand is supposed to be...not adding crap that is less than 10 years old. Please

To play devil's advocate: I'm sure the people at TVLand are under a lot of pressure from MTV Networks to increase revenues, bring in younger demographics, "grow the business" etc... unfortuently, that's the way it is with most cable channels today.

But I feel the same way about TVLand and the programming decisions.

I don't even want Scrubs on TV Land. If "Just Shoot Me" somes from the Sony Pictures TV concentration camps to air on TV Land in January, the network's new name is gonna be "TV Suck", or at best, "TV Dumb". TV Land is just pretending that "Just Shoot Me" and "Scrubs" are from the late 80s, but they are really from the late 90s and 2000s, respectively.
