I liked him in the beginning too. I started to get annoyed with him when he was going through puberty and started to "rebel." By the last 3 years of the show, he needed to go. I always hoped they would do a "Judy Winslow" to him.

Jerry was cool!

It was Becky that didn't fit in. She was the Marilyn Munster of The Connors. I felt bad for her at times. They were such a crazy family. Some of her annoying fits were out of control, but that's part of growing up. I always thought Becky was a good character.

Ha! Those 2 could drive anyone crazy!

I liked D.J. bickering with Darlene, even when they were older. But I never understood why he treated David like such crap.

Me too, i hated the episode when he hit david that made me go off dj, also what i didnt like was the fact noone stuck up for david he was too sweet and dj took advantage of that.

i liked DJ when he was little, like many of you and i also agree that when he became a teenager, he became stubborn and plus he moaned a lot more too. but that doesn't mean i dislike him as much as or as more as the first becky. although alicia was pretty good at being well a pain in the arse as becky the second becky didn't do much to warrant my liking of her as i found her dull.

well, to be honest i've never been fond of that character- alicia's becky was all mouth and always bitching and whining when things don't go her way and sarah's becky was just boring. so you could say, um yeah! i liked roseanne, DJ, jackie, and to a certain extent darlene though

You're not alone. I felt a little sorry for her when she was covering for Goth Darlene and when Dan and Rosey sank her college funds into that stupid bike shop, but she was so selfish and loud-mouthed I could barely watch her. I didn't want her to come back, re-cast or not.

DJ. Not so much in the earlier seasons, but he really got on my nerves from Season Seven onwards,
