Ok, it looks like some sort of animal costume that he is supposed to be wearing.

Brent: "Up yours buddy!!!" (Brent realizing his middle finger can't be seen through that damn glove)

BTW whoever made that of Brent, sure didn't do him justice. It makes him look horrible.

It appears to be an official CTV promo for the Corner Gas show, although WHY they made a ceramic effigy of Brent, wearing a teddy bear outfit, is WAY beyond me..........maybe to make him beloved to children everywhere*???
*it worked for Ronald McDonald

Yeah, but at least Ronald McDonald was shown as we seen him. Brent doesn't wear that outfit. Brent's face looks so distorted and wrinkly. He looks like a bulldog.

How abt just showing him in his CG uniform? Wow, now there is a fresh new idea.

On the other hand, cant you just SEE all the kids at the trade fair running up to Brent-bear and hugging him.......not that there are usually many kids at trade fairs
he is actually wearing his normal uniform though....albeit over a bear suit! (Maybe i should try to find the website that pic came from to get the full story! )

Default Spirit Bears in the City - Online Auction

Well, i just did and it turns out the Brent bear was part of an internet auction for Charity in Vancouver.... A group of artists created several unique bears which all had one thing in common, a right paw raised in salute...then they would be auctioned off to the highest bidders! I remember they did the same thing with Bison in Toronto!

Well that explains the bear suit. It still doesn't explain how Brent came out looking so awful. Brent is so cute and that whole bear thingy didn't do him justice at all! Thanx for that info and the link.

'Brent "The Bear" Butt'
Artist: Ross Agro
Patron: CTV
Provenance: Who is that trying to masquerade as a bear? It is the Canadian comedian Brent Butt who plays the incredibly funny Brent Leroy on the popular television show, Corner Gas. An authentic autograph from Mr. Butt is cleverly displayed on this Bear's butt.
Sold for: $2700

Oy vey. You've got to be kidding me? Someone paid $2700 for that? Oh well, it went to charity, that is more important.
