At the end? What do you mean, when the girls are waiting for the phone to ring? Or at the end of the episode?

At the end of the episode Fred came in and told Ricky and Lucy that he never made the phony phone call to Lucy and that is when they realized that Lucy did in fact win the furniture.

Hey, it happens. Even the best of us forget details of our fave shows. I know I can't remember everything.

When the girls were in Lucy's apt. waiting for the call to come in, the phone rang and Ethel picked up the phone (thinking it was hers) Lucy discovered it is her phone ringing when she picked up the phone line, and walked with it to the wall and realized it was her phone line that goes to her jack.

I guess. You must have been making up your own episode. I know I have done that with Roseanne, I get scenes mixed up with other scenes. That's what happens when you watch shows over and over and over again.

After redecorating. Notice the edge of the set on the right where a wall should be.

The Merz's apartment was ugly.
