No, thankfully the Red Barn chain died a quick natural death, many years ago; i only mentioned it as being the WORST fast-food , in history!
Interestingly enough, you still see the old distinctive RedBarn buildings being used as Real-estate offices or as used car lot offices (etc.) , now and then.

KFC is another fast food joint I would NOT step in. Popeyes has better chicken and biscuits.

I've never even heard of the Red Barn.

McDonald's made me sick (actually I think it was gastroenteritis, but McD's was the last thing I ate, so you know...) in November 1999, and all I've eaten there since are apple pies, shakes, a sausage biscuit, chicken fingers, and a salad I think. And other places have better chicken fingers. On the Kansas Turnpike, McD's is the ONLY thing to eat, but had I had a choice, I'd have picked something else in a heartbeat.

I think that's the only one I've written off.

I used to live off fast food. It was disgusting! Thank God I've moved beyond that time of my life! I'm more or less off the stuff. On occasion I do still get some subs, or a burger. However, places I avoid all together are below:

McDonalds I'm sure I don't need to explain the evils here. Last week when my cousin and I were on the road, she and the baby were hungry. So she stopped at McDonalds. I chose not to order anything.

Arby's: Last time I had a roast beef sandwich from Arby's, after ordering it, they told me it would be just a minute. 30 seconds later, they presented me with my order. Fast? Convenient? Good service? Hell No! That's nasty! Who knows how long that piece of **** has been sitting around, frozen or otherwise, and then they just re-heated it????
That used to be acceptable to me. But I think I have more respect for my body than that!

taco bell/taco cabana Every time I would order at either one of these establishments, I'd become ill. I don't know if it's the processed, canned beans and meat, or the over cooked rice. But I've had my fill, thank you very much!

Jack in the Box After asking for no bacon and getting it anyway, and finding some sort of animal hair in my paddy, I tossed away my final Jack in the Box meal and left thoroughly dissatisfied. The milk shake was also not up to standards. Plus, I just don't trust Jack.

In general, fast food is nothing more than a beacon of a declining culture. Very sad.

For some reason my oldest daughter vomited the two times she ate KFC...obviously, she won't touch the stuff again. uke:

Max, I worked at Arby's many many years ago...you don't want to know the behind the counter stories.

I don't like Wendy's fries. Most of the time they stink. But their foccacia sandwiches are yum.

Yeah, she thought maybe she had a stomach flu. The second time, she knew to say, "that's it, no more."

The only thing I touch at McD's is the Chicken Cesar Salad.

That too. Like FactoryGirl said, McDonald's does hire some very rude and uneducated people. All the nice people must go work retail.

Plus McD's has no sub-type sandwiches. I like Wendy's and Arby's cold turkey or ham. Doesn't taste like I'm eating fast food and it's not so fattening.

I swore of Wendy's for about five years after getting food poisoning. Even now, it's very rare that I eat fast like like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's. It all greasy, artery-clogging slop. I have to be in a real time bind to stop and buy that.
