Speaking of men thinking alike, I remember later (around the 'choker' period), her not wearing a bra on the show. Even though I was only 14 or so, I definitely noticed this. Anyone else?

The bra-less look was definitely one of the more popular styles of the 1970s. I read where Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb of The Brady Bunch tried to get away with it. It got to the point where the producer had to feel their backs to check. If no bra was on, it was back to the dressing room!

It was episode # 224 in season 7 ( all the more reason to want to seasons 7 & 8 in splendiferous DVD quality color) where we were treated to the first example of Liz Braless as Samantha although we had seen her do so on numerous occasions as Serena................................Memories, like the corners of my mind, misty colored memories.................ahhhhhhhhh...............where was i again, i had a moment there

Well as i always say a Hose in the hand is worth two in the Bush

Thank Goodness Liz had the good sense to go Braless the rest of her life, both personally & on the set, if she had not we would not have been given the treats we were in Between the Darkness and the Dawn & Belle Starr.

Oh and if i have been naughty i think i should be punished severely oh command mistress

Sam looked good in everything she wore.

Great photo!

Count me in with the short skirt crowd... Also I liked her boots when she wore those!

Irene Vernon and Kasey Rogers had nice wardrobes too. Kasey's look really changed later on: Much lighter colored hair, and quite a bit longer than her short-hair period.

Actually, Kasey Rogers wore a dark wig her first three seasons as Louise so she'd look more like Irene Vernon. The final three seasons that was her real red hair!

I hate Samantha's "mod" clothes in season eight , chokers. knee length socks, the Ali McGraw hairstyle,(much prefer Samantha's sweep up hairstyle and flase eyelashes during the Dick York to Season 6 period ), noooo not for me. But I love the yellow outfit she wears in season five's "Samantha's Super Maid" at dinner when she and Darrin are trying to sack Amelia. It has a tie at the front and as Elizabeth is tanned she looks gorgeous. Samantha's single most elegant moment was in the season three Halloween party sequence when she has a plain black full length gown on and with her hair all braided like a greek goddess, sensational;!!!

Thumbs up

^ Those are both terrific outfits, as is the pink Grecian gown she wore in Season 3's "Charlie Harper, Winner".
