$3.20 for midgrade. I decided that I'm busting out my bike and biking from now on. I'm only using my car for long distance trips (Anywhere over 20 miles) and emergencies. I'm sorry but I don't make nearly enough money to be able to shell out over $30 a week on gas.

That's a really good idea. I'd do the same thing if I lived closer to my job (it's a 15 minute drive through several major roads). Plus you get fresh air, sun and exercise!

I got gas at Walmart yesterday and for regular unleaded it was $2.78 a gallon.

We are paying $1.25 per litre here

3.75 litres to a gallon = $4.73 Cnd per gallon

or $4.29 US a gallon

I am thinking of robbing a gas truck for some extra cash

it's around $2.90 here i think. it probably went up though.

I went to class and then back home today... it went up to $3.04.

Someone on LJ was in West Oakland, CA, on Saturday and took this picture. Gas is over $4 there already.

Economist projections here state that it is likely gas will hit $1.60 per litre here by years end.

$5.44 US per gallon, seems our numbers are similar to the West Oakland prices so I would imagine that it could hit over $5 by years end down there.

Catlover, Marathon's range is from Minnesota to Florida. Heading west from Ohio the brand disappears somewhere in Illinois, and heading east it disappears in Pennsylvania. If there is no Marathon around (I travel a LOT!) I try to look for Phillips 66 (or, in effect, Conoco or "76") or Exxon or Mobil (only available here in Ohio at United Dairy Farmers mini-groceries).

I have a loyalty to Marathon, by the way, to the point where I call it "the 'thon"!
